The epicenter trek began shortly after the earthquake that struck Nepal in 2015. These earthquakes destroyed the homes and lives of thousands of Nepalese people. The aftermath of these earthquakes made the lives of the localsextremely difficult and challenging. In an effort to provide a source of income, foreign aid and awareness of the community, KarmaTreks organized the epicenter trek. KarmaTreks is one of the only companies that combines trekking with social work/support for communities that were devastated by this earthquake.

When you book your trek with KarmaTreks, all of the profit we gain will be invested into supporting these communities by providing food, clothing, shelter and education.
